Mera Peak 6654m. (17 days, Fully Camping Trek)

Mera peak is one of the highest trekking peak in Nepal and most popular trekking peak in Everest region. Mera peak 6654m is considered one of the major and popular trekking peaks in Nepal. Mera Peak itself rises to the south of Everest. The ascent of the Mera peak is technically straightforward; however, the heavy snow and the maze of crevasses can make the way longer to the summit. Besides the charming of climbing Mera Peak, the trek to its base camp from Lukla is rewarding for experiencing little-visited and yet unspoiled region of Nepal with densely forested hill sides. There are several approaches to the base camp besides the easy and normal route, which is mentioned above. The routes crossing Amphu Lapcha (5,780m) and the Mingbo La (5,871m) are quite adventurous and rewarding for spectacular scenery but none of them are easy.
Mera peak is not only famous and highest peak in Nepal, from the top of the Mera peak ,world highest mountain including Mt. Everest 8848m, Mt. Lhotse 8516m, Mt. Kanchenjunga 8586, Mt. Makalu 8463m,Mt. Cho Oyu 8201m and other Everest region Himalayan scenery can be viewed. For the Mea peak climbing there are two option either from Kathmandu by flight to Lukla or Kathmandu by bus jiri , it is depend on clients holiday duration also after summit the Mera peak continue trek to Amphu lapcha pass and island peak climbing also possible. Day 1. Arrival Kathmandu and Hotel 3**
Day 2. Visit Kathmandu City, Boudhanath, Pasupatinath and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 3. Fly to Lukla (35 Minmountain flight ) then 3-4 hours trek to Chhutanga 3400m
Day 4. Zatra 4200m (Pass Zatra La 4860m) 5-6 hrs.
Day 5. Khothe 3345m. 5-6 hrs.
Day 6. Thangna 4300m. 5-6 hrs.
Day 7. Rest day. Prepar for climb.
Day 8. Trek to Khare 5000m. 4-5 hrs.
Day 9. Trek To Mera La 5700m. 5-6 hrs.
Day 10. Hight Camp 6200m. 4-5 hrs.
Day 11. Summit Mera Peak 6654m. and decend Khare. 7-8 hrs.
Day 12. Khothe. 6-7 hrs.
Day 13. Zatra La. 6-7 hrs.
Day 14. Lukla. 6-7 hrs.
Day 15. Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 16. Free day for Shopping.
Day 17. Departure.

The cost include

  1. Transport from Airport to Hotel (Pick up and Departure).

  7. Accommodation (Twin share with attach bath:-Kathmandu in 3 stair hotel with breakfast).

  10. Sleeping bag (If you want take your sleeping bag you can take yourself).
  11. English speaking Guide, Climbing guide & porters. (1 porter for 2 Pax).
  12. Personal Baggies 15 kg maximum per person. (The things which you don't need for trekking you can store in Kathmandu. You have store facilities in hotel in Kathmandu (No extra charge).
